Southeast Wastewater Industry Leader Continues to Support Customers and Industry Colleagues

Operators Unlimited, Inc. is hosting a free, in-person wastewater operator continuing education event, May 11-12^th at the University Center of Greenville. Participants will earn 6 hours of continuing education credits per day attended for a total of 12 continuing education credits with each day’s agenda beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.

This event is open to any industrial or municipal wastewater operator with a South Carolina physical/chemical or biological license D, C, B or A needing continuing education units. Course content satisfies the SCLLR (South Carolina Labor Licensing Regulation) requirements for biannual continuing education credits.

Course topics include wastewater sampling, documentation, mathematics, chemical feed pumps, solids dewatering, and safety protocols and procedures.

“Our continuing education classes are not only a state requirement, but they also aid in keeping seasoned operators current on new and evolving trends and changes in the industry, as well as helping new operators build and strengthen their foundation in the field,” said Mitch Varnadore, Director of Wastewater Operations.

Due to Covid-19 protocols, in-person class sizes are limited to 35 and interested parties are encouraged to register early.
