Before joining the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (SCMEP) as a Process Improvement Coach, David built his manufacturing career at organizations such as Toyota and Danaher. His experiences during that time were primarily centered around Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production systems.
While working at Toyota as a Production Engineer for stamping and cold forging, he learned several techniques to support the strategy behind setup reduction, batch size reduction, frequent changeovers, and lead-time reduction.
As a Process Improvement Coach with SCMEP, David thoroughly enjoys working with SC manufacturers and their employees. One of the things he finds most rewarding is seeing our clients learn new ideas and apply those ideas to their processes to become more successful.
