Today’s SCMEP Staff Spotlight is Brian Kuney!
As a Regional Vice President at the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (SCMEP), Brian is a change agent with a background in quality and continuous improvement. With 30+ years of manufacturing experience across various industries, ranging from heavy equipment manufacturing to blow mold extrusion, Brian has a keen sense for improvement opportunities and how to implement solutions most effectively. Prior to becoming a Regional Vice President, Brian served as one of SCMEP’s Process Improvement Coaches (formerly Technical Specialist), delivering on-site training and implementation services for manufacturers across South Carolina.
When he joined SCMEP, it became apparent how integral his previous learnings and experience were to being a true trusted advisor to the manufacturing clients we serve. In his own words, “it really does allow me to share my experiences, both good and not-so-good, to help others learn. I also love the relationship we have with our manufacturing community, especially hearing their success stories”.
