North Carolina Manufacturer Bringing Operations South

A North Carolina stainless equipment manufacturer will launch operations in Chesterfield County. Established two years ago in Waxhaw, N.C., Titan Stainless, is expected to invest $2.6 million on a 50,000-square-foot facility, creating 50 new jobs over the next five years.

Located at the Lynches River Industrial Park in Pageland, S.C., Titan’s new facility will allow the company to meet increased customer demand.

Currently, the manufacturer provides an extensive product portfolio including cabinets, dish tables, floor troughs, sinks, and worktables.

Dillon Melton, Titan Stainless President, said the foresight of state and local governments in South Carolina has created a business friendly atmosphere perfect for job creation.

“This benefits all South Carolinians, and we are proud to call South Carolina home,” he said.

Primarily serving the foodservice and healthcare industries, the company will only operate with National Sanitation Foundation-approved equipment. In addition to the design and manufacturing of its products, Titan also offers professional installation services.

Thanks to companies like Titan Stainless choosing to make their products in South Carolina, Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt, said the state continues to lead the manufacturing renaissance.

“This announcement is terrific news for the Chesterfield community, and I look forward to watching Titan succeed there for many years to come,” he said.

Company officials anticipate a completion date for the project in the fourth quarter of 2015.
